Corbin 39 Double Vision
This is off topic but is too cool not to post on our Blog. Who does not love watching boats being lifted?
Does a Corbin 39 + a Corbin 39 = a 78 Foot Quadruple Ender?
On my way to work on Wed, Dec 12 I stopped to watch this “boat flip-flop” at the Fredericton Yacht Club and was lucky enough have a great “gam” with another observer who was the dad of the owner.
Here is what I understand… the owner of the white Corbin 39, Mike C Jr. found the green Corbin 39 named Lucky Lady in Maine. These pictures were taken during a process involving:
- Craining the unfinished white hull off the cradle in the yard, over the fence and setting it on stands in the drive way.
- Craining the green hull Lucky Lady off the truck trailer, over the fence and onto the now empty cradle in the yard.
- Craning the unfinished white hull off the stands in the drive way and onto the now empty truck trailer.
Great show, seeing one Corbin in profile and one Corbin head on was neat.
